Coupons

Coupons used to be simple.  You got Sunday's newspaper or your local grocery flyers through and you clipped the ones you needed.   Also, if you got some of Family or Parenting magazines, you clipped those as well.  Magazines like Family Circle, assume that you may need coupons.   Now, there are many organizations that collect coupons and a lot of companies had marketing clubs that you can join.    The clubs will send you coupons through the mail or email.  Also, there are online companies that you can join, including Groupon, Shopathome.com, MealDeal, Coupon Alert.com, Coupon.com, CouponMom.com, CouponCabin.com, Smartsource.com, Valpak.com and so on.  There are so many that you should google and review each site to determine which site will fit your Diva needs.   Would you believe that at one time in the 90's companies were thinking about getting rid of coupons.  Boy, times have changed.  You can even look up some of your favorite brand names on Facebook and join their groups.  They often have savings or coupons for their group members.  Now they have shows where people just shop using coupons and compete on how much money they can save.  In my 20's, I use to have a coupon pouch that alphabetized all of my coupons.  I took my pouch with me whenever I went shopping.  I might have saved 20 - 50 dollars.   Now that I am older my eating habits and shopping habits have changed.  I may have to get a new coupon pouch, but now I pay more attention to the ingredients of what I am purchasing.
